International Baccalaureate Program  ($38,000)
In 2011-12, the Northville Educational Foundation is providing funding for IB candidacy fees, Principal & teacher training and materials.

“The International Baccalaureate (IB) program will advance the excellence that exemplifies Northville Public Schools – deepening our comprehensive curriculum while continuing a focus on the whole child.  Rather than being geared to only advanced students, the IB Middle Years Program is designed for all learners, and emphasizes intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth through all domains of knowledge and encourages learners to understand how they learn and to connect and apply their learning.  Following the Middle Years Program, highly motivated students may choose to continue with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program for their 11th and 12th grade years, a rigorous course of study that prepares students for university and career success in a global society.”
