Northville Parent Camp 2019

For parents and guardians of all currently enrolled K-12 NPS students

Kids Empowered K-5th grade youth track pre-registration is now closed.

A partnership with the Northville Public Schools district, the Northville Educational Foundation brings Parent Camp to parents/guardians of all currently enrolled K-12 NPS students. 

Parent Camp is a morning filled with resources, speakers, and workshops on a broad array of topics, to support learning and growing together, and better equip us to empower and guide our children. There is no cost to attend Parent Camp, but for seating and refreshments, registration is requested. 

New this year: a Kids Empowered program for currently enrolled K-5th grade NPS students whose parents are attending Parent Camp. There is a separate registration and nominal $10 fee for each K-5th child participating in the Kids Empowered session. Click here for the Kids Empowered session overview.

Parent Camp Itinerary
  • 8:30 a.m. Refreshments, resources. Kids Empowered check-in.
  • 9:00 a.m. Opening remarks. Kids Empowered session starts
  • 9:30 a.m. Parent session 1 begins
  • 12:20 p.m. Parent sessions & Kids Empowered track conclude
  • 12:30 p.m. Showing of the documentary, Resilience, the "biology of stress and the science of hope." Runs 60 minutes. Not recommended for viewers under 16 years old. Child care is not available.

Parents are welcome to walk-in on Saturday, however, participating K-5th grade children MUST be pre-registered by 12noon, Thursday, March 31, 2019.

Care for younger children is not available, nor is there adult supervision provided for participating K-5th graders after 12:30pm.
